UWW Aikido Club featured in local newspaper
The University of Wisconsin - Whitewater Aikido Club [Warhawk Martial Arts Club] had an article about them featured in the Royal Purple News. One of this year’s Summer Kenshusei, Adam Nelson, is the current President of the club and is featured in the picture to the left.

CPR Seminar at Soshinkan Dojo [Chicago]
This past weekend Soshinkan Dojo in Burbank, IL. Held a CPR class for instructors in the Chicago area, as well as, for students and interested persons. Bob Garza Sensei coordinated the event. Attached is his brief report and people who were in attendance.

Update on Japan Trip 2008
Manabu Masuda Sensei [6th dan] from Kobayashi dojo is currently in Houston for a seminar at Shinjinkan dojo. He wanted to inform us the the Kobayashi dojo anniversary previously announced in October of 2008, will now be moved to the end of September 2008. An updated flyer will be forthcoming.

Shinjitsu Dojo’s visit to Tenshinkan
This past weekend Shinjitsu Dojo [Hanover Park, IL] visited Tenshinkan Dojo [Chicago, IL] for afternoon training. The classes were instructed by S. Toyoda Sensei [AAA/AAI President] and J. Bieszk Sensei [Midwest Regional Director]. Sal Forestieri Sensei is the dojo cho of Shinjitsu Dojo, a new affiliate of the AAA. Thank you to all the students who participated and trained hard!
