CPR Seminar at Soshinkan Dojo [Chicago]
This past weekend Soshinkan Dojo in Burbank, IL. Held a CPR class for instructors in the Chicago area, as well as, for students and interested persons. Bob Garza Sensei coordinated the event. Attached is his brief report and people who were in attendance.
Well, It took a little doing but the CPR CLASS was a great success!
We were given instruction in adult, child and infant CPR. We were taught how to use a AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and how to assist those who are choking. It was great! Some with big hands had to be careful, guys like me had to not cover the faces the wrong way and others should not use the baby’s head to exchange arms, we had a fun time and learn how to help our friend and family as well as others. After class we went out and had Sushi and more….
Next time it could be you.
